A Woman's Answer Medical Center

A Woman’s Answer provides support and assistance for men and women to make life-affirming choices for an unplanned pregnancy. We are a not-for-profit organization, to ensure that women’s needs come first, not the financial “bottom line.”

Our services are provided at no cost, so that every woman has the access to help she needs, regardless of economic status.

• Raise awareness on campus and in the Gainesville community of AWA and resources they provide
• Catholic Gator participation at each AWA event
• Generate committed weekly volunteers
• Provide consistent prayer support

Ongoing Needs

• Volunteers to train to become client advocates
• Participation in client advisory sessions
• Creation of education resource packets
• Participation in daily prayer with A Woman’s Answer Medical Center staff
• Babysitting during client sessions

Office Support

• Filing
• Answering phone
• Organizing education materials
• Keeping the plants alive
• Center maintenance/ help cleaning

Outreach

• Raising awareness on campus (posting fliers, delivering brochures, etc.)
• Representing AWA at Prolife Alliance Events

Other

• Contributors to the quarterly newsletter (articles, pictures, help with layout)

What: Easy way to support AWA!
When: CSF Meeting Date Coming Soon!
Need: Students to take a baby bottle home at a Catholic Student Fellowship meeting and fill it
with their loose change and return it after several weeks

When: Feb. 11, 2011
What: AWA’s biggest annual fundraiser

Need: Students willing to help with planning, set-up, and writing thank-you cards afterward
