Hi, my name is Mary Tweed Wise. Before joining the St. Augustine Staff, I
worked for the City of Gainesville, in various departments, spending a large majority of my time working in the Purchasing Department as a Contracts Coordinator/Buyer. I love writing, analyzing, and administering contracts (I know that sounds strange).
When I left the City, I wanted to find a position which would be pleasant and rewarding. I have found just that working for St. Augustine Church as Office Manager. My job is very versatile and challenging. I especially love working with people, and the staff and parishioners here are terrific.
I am married and have two dogs and two cats, whose names are Harold,
Bobby, Ralphie, Oliver, and Sweetie. As you’ve probably guessed, I am a BIG
animal lover.
My hobbies include: reading, gardening, walking, shopping for antiques, and occasionally I do some fishing. I also love the outdoors, Florida’s beaches, the Gators (UF’s football team) not the reptiles - ha ha, and visiting art galleries and museums.
