East Alachua County School Program
The East Alachua County School Program strives to offset the East-West division of resources in our county. Please help by donating time, talent, or materials.

Our School Supply Drive takes place at St. Augustine Church during late July and August. Supplies can be dropped off in the church vestibule, where there will be a poster with further details.

The Hawthorne Middle/High School Book Drive occurs each spring after Easter. There will be a poster in the vestibule with details about the titles needed for the students' summer reading.

Tutors and volunteers are needed at eastern Alachua County schools. Contact the Alachua County School Volunteer Program (352-955-6760 or starkef@sbac.edu) or see their website (http://www.sbac.edu/~volprog). Please remember that the school MOST in need of regular volunteers might NOT be the one closest to you! Ask to serve a school in need.
