Ministry Formation
Ministry Formation (MF) is a program for college students and
young adults who are interested in acquiring leadership skills and
possibly serving in one or more leadership positions at St.
Augustine Catholic Student Center. For example, those considering
service as an officer of Catholic Student Fellowship, Newman Club,
Bible Studies or Nueva Alianza should complete the program.
* * The program is a MANDATORY requirement of those interested in serving on
an ALPHA Retreat Team. * *
MF is a four-week program held twice a year following the Fall
and Spring Alpha Retreats. The focus of the program is to develop
qualified and empowered ministers to serve in ministries for the
local faith community and in their faith communities following their
college careers. Emphasis is on personal faith formation, community-building,
and training for small group ministry.

* * * Sessions will be offered on
Sundays and Tuesdays. For the first 3 weeks, you can choose to attend EITHER session.
If you miss one of the first 3 sessions, you must attend the Make-up
Session on the 4th Sunday. The final
session is mandatory - you must attend it on the 4th Tuesday.
All sessions will be held from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. in Hurley Hall. |
