The Diocese of Saint Augustine encompasses 17 counties spanning the northeast section of Florida from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean. It covers 11,032 square miles and serves more than 166,464 registered Catholics. There are 51 parishes and 8 missions in the Diocese of St. Augustine. The Diocese maintains four high schools, 27 elementary schools and one special education school. Our Bishop is the Most Reverend Victor Galeone, who was installed as the ningh bishop of the Diocese of Saint Augustine on August 21, 2001.
