Asked Questions
to be eligible for Confirmation, you must

- Be in grades 10-12 in the 2007-2008
school year,
- Be baptized in the Catholic Church,
- Have received First Communion &
Reconciliation,
- And, be registered in St. Augustine
Church
For those who have completed high school, please
inquire about our Confirmation preparation program for adults.
What criterion must be satisfied to be
Confirmed?
1) Candidate
commits to
· Attendance
at all meetings
· Completion
of assignments and reading.
2) By
October 1, 2007, complete a Registration Form and return to Tom Rinkoski. You
can register in two different ways: One, on-line by
clicking here for a link to the on-line registration
form. Or, you can pick up a registration form at the parish office, complete
and return to Tom Rinkoski. The Parish Office is open from 9:00 am till 9:00 pm
every day.
3) By
November 1, 2007, submit to Tom Rinkoski at the Parish Office (or, in class) a
letter of recommendation for Confirmation from a member of St. Augustine Church
(it may be FROM your parents).
4)
By November 1, 2007, submit the name, address and phone number of the person you
choose to be your Confirmation Sponsor.
5) By December 1, 2007, provide a copy of official Baptismal Certificate
to Tom.
6) By
March 1, 2008, complete a 10 hour service project and hand in report (to Tom)
7) By
March 1, turn in to Tom a personal letter to the Bishop written according to the
specifications provided.

Is there a fee for the Confirmation
Program?
Because access to the sacraments is a fundamental
right of all Catholics, there is no fee. Your donations to the Sunday
collections pay the expenses. Students are expected to have a textbook ($17)
and a Bible ($24) for which a donation will be greatly appreciated. These will
be distributed at first session.
